The Most Difficult Post I'll Ever Put Up

Disclaimer: The following videos are not my own but are documentaries of individuals who trusted the LORD with all their hearts. If you so choose to continue viewing them, it will be of your own free will and that you will take the information provided at your own discretion. The sole purpose of putting them up in this blog is to present the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the real message of the Gospel in light of Scriptures.

On a personal note, I welcome any kind of reaction and question as a personal message sent to my email at cookie.alicaya@gmail. comIt is solely because I love you with the love of Christ that I am putting this most difficult post in my blog.

"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen."
(1 Corinthians 16:23-24)

"And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God." (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)

With much Love in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!

  1. It is indeed the most difficult post you ever put up because you let the videos speak for yourself.

What really makes this difficult for you? Is there still something in you that is still “Catholic”?

Isn’t it unchristian to vilify others (Catholics) to prove your point? Your post would have been more “Christian” if you did it the other way. I would be happier to read or listen to you if you had presented some videos about your new found faith instead of posting videos about the shortcomings of the Catholic church. That is how to win a proposition.

Let me ask one question. Why do other bible Christians have opposing views as well if you say that your interpretation of the Bible is infallible?. Adventist forbid eating pork, Jehovas’ Witness forbid blood transfusion, Iglesia ni Kristo forbid eating animal blood. These faiths all rely on the Bible and yet they differ in their doctrines? Why? Are they practising eisegesis rather than exegesis?.

Oh, one more thing, why does Eli Soriano of Ang Dating Daan throw expletives when he preaches?

I will be happy to learn from you scriptural basis on each of the above faiths doctrine.

Now, you may tell me, their faith differ from yours, but why single out the Catholic church?

In some way, you maybe are what you are right now because your parents taught you the values that your previous faith preaches?

One more thing, why didn’t Luther, Calvin and others unite to form one Church? Why is it that in the Philippines and I am sure in other parts of the globe, there are hundreds of smaller Bible Christian denominations? Can they not unite and form one cohesive church? After all, they profess one doctrinal faith-and that is sola scriptura or scripture alone.

May you remain faithful in your new found faith. As for me, I won’t leave my Church just because of the perceive shortcomings just as I won’t leave my parents if they don’t make me the best son that I can be. Afterall, I will be judged on my own merit, and not on whom I associated myself with.

    God bless you always.

  2. Hi Niteworks!

I always praise the LORD for your visit to my blog and your comment on this particular post. As I've mentioned in my response to your comment in my other post "War Against Christmas," I do appreciate your sentiment.

I will be happy to share with you scriptural basis on each of the points above in response to a personal email you can send me through the address given.

I do, however, will answer your question as to why I considered this post the most difficult one among others. It is not difficult for my sake but for my family and friends' who I know read my blog. It is quite difficult because I know it will put them in a very uncomfortable position. But, the very reason why I posted these videos up is to shed light as to what the Roman Church and religion believe in that is in conflict with Scripture.

Regarding the post being "vilifying," I believe you have misunderstood the definition of that word. To "vilify" is to make vicious and defamatory statements about. I DO NOT allow anything of that in my visitor's comments, and will never use anything like that in my posts.

Defamatory remarks are those that are harmful and UNTRUE. These videos share the testimonies of individuals who encountered God's Truth in His Word. The videos objectively SHOW why these individuals left the Roman Catholic Church.

It is my aim to share these Truths to those who are willing to hear. I was once a Catholic, and if God didn't allow me to encounter these facts and truths, I would have remained in a deceived state. It doesn't really matter what religion we belong to, in the end it has to be checked through the Word of God. And if it doesn't stand with the truths that Jesus and the Scriptures teach, then it is false doctrine.

The apostle Paul actually did the same to the Jews of his time when he became a follower of Christ (when he encountered Jesus's Truth). He was also SHOWING the Jews where they have fallen short of the Truth. (see Acts 13:26-32) And he continued to do so in his various trips (see Acts 17:2-4, Acts 17:16-31). Paul met a WHOLE lot of negative reactions from the Jews, but take a look at what he said about the Bereans in Acts 17:10-12. The apostle actually commended the Bereans for receiving the word with all eagerness and EXAMINING THE SCRIPTURES DAILY TO SEE IF THE THINGS HE SHARED WERE SO. They did not just react because the message felt and sounded different from their beliefs BUT they resorted to study the Scriptures to compare the teachings of Paul to it.

That is the same picture today. I only aim to show my readers and visitors these truths hoping and praying that they be as noble as the Bereans to study the Word of God instead of reacting negatively to it "just because". :)

I leave you with the peace that Jesus alone can give and also leave you with this verse in Scripture to hopefully challenge you to study the Word of God always... Take care and be blessed!

"For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:19)

    Hi Cookie,

"I was once a Catholic, and if God didn't allow me to encounter these facts and truths, I would have remained in a deceived state."

Deceived? Are you saying all those who are outside of your faith are deceived?

You didn't actually answer my question as to why the different religions I mentioned above who are all Bible Christians with different church names vary in doctrines?

Let me emphasize that I am not an apologist. I am not here to argue but to just give another dimension to your posts.

Do you know Tim Staples? He is a leading Catholic apologist who use to defend your new found faith. I will be posting some of his videos in your other post in which i have commented-"War against Christmas".

    God bless.

  4. Hi Franklin!!!

Aww... you're really kind. You gave me the pleasure of knowing your name. Thank you. Anyway, I have posted (in 2 parts) the lessons I've learned regarding false teachers/teachings. I hope that they help you discern who the false teachers are and what their usual doctrines look like.

You know, the Word of God is so rich of His Truth and if we humbly come before His throne to ask for His grace and wisdom to see them, the LORD will grant it for His glory. But then again, the Bible also speaks of those whom God gave over to their evil passions making them all the more blind to the Truths of Scripture. Yet, God is always good for He invites us to RENEW OUR MINDS and invites us to deliberately take our thoughts captive to Christ. :)

I hope and pray that the posts will somehow help in your faith journey, Franklin. May you encounter God's Truth in His Word. As always, I praise the Lord for your visit. Come back soon. Be blessed!
